Why do you have to paint the whole panel when it is only a scratch?
The reason is, when you paint just the scratch you will instantly see a line on the panel. This is called a hard edge. To make sure the job is invisible to the eye we paint the whole panel to ensure there are no hard edges.
Why do you have to paint the panel adjacent to the one that is damaged?
This is because of colour matching; the complex metallic in the paint makes it important to blend the panel to make sure the paint finish is perfect. If we did not blend the panels then the colour difference would be blindingly obvious.
Can I buy back my vehicle after it has been written off?
The simple answer is yes. A lot of people have owned their vehicle for years or even from new, so when it is written off for slight or minor damage they are not too pleased. In most cases, the money you will receive from the insurance company will cover the cost of repairs, which will put their vehicle back on the road as good as new. You may even have change left in the bank.
