My wife and I purchased our car (a VW Golf) from Alexander Motors in Cradley Heath back in September 2024. Arriving at the dealership, we were greeted by the owner, who was friendly and came across very genuine - even our normally reactive dog liked him (and that was our first green flag!). He took the time to show us the car, highlighting some of it's good qualities and being honest about some of its flaws. My wife, who knows more about cars than I do, had many questions about the specs and history of the car and was given attention and respect the entire visit (our second green flag!). This bears mentioning, as at each of the previous dealerships we visited, my wife's questions were dismissed or she was spoken to in a condescending way, and any conversation was defaulted to me as the "man". This was certainly not our experience at Alexander Motors, and would highly recommend this dealership to anyone who doesn't like the typical car salesman vibe.The car we purchased was an automatic, which I personally had no experience with and my wife was out of practice driving on busy city streets. We didn't feel comfortable taking the car out for a test drive in the area, but we didn't want to purchase the car without seeing how it drove. The owner offered to drive us through town, driving at different speeds, testing the brakes, showing us the different features in the car along the way. The whole time we were made to feel reassured and comfortable, with no pressure to buy (our third green flag!).We live quite a few hours away from the dealership and dreaded the idea of doing another round trip to come back for it at a later date. The owner offered to drive the car to our location for a discounted mileage rate, and he was able to deliver it to us within a week. When he arrived at the house, we did all the paperwork in the comfort of our home and he even had a little play with the dog.In the 6 months we have owned the car, it has driven like a dream. We have had no issues at all. The car was sold to us for a fair price and in great condition, and any concern we had were looked into and reassurances given. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking to buy a car and have a positive experience. After spending months looking for a new car, dealing with shady and condescending salesmen, Alexander Motors was a breath of fresh air!

Extremely friendly, professional with it we had travelled from wrexham to look at the car it was for my son. Robert was great with us and very honest. We did have another car to see so.eqhere else a d we told him this no sales pitch no pushing he advised us go have a look at the car. But in all honesty we didn't need to the car my son seen was excellent ticked all our boxes price milage and condition.
